FFC Supports EPA Methane Rules

Friends Fiduciary has joined other Pennsylvania organizations in support of the Environmental Protection Agency’s efforts to address climate change by proposing rules to reduce methane pollution from new and existing oil and gas infrastructure. Methane pollution is greatly increasing climate change leading to investor concerns around increasingly extreme weather events across Pennsylvania, and the globe, that threaten infrastructure and PA’s substantial agricultural sector. Pennsylvania is the country’s second largest natural gas producer and the third largest greenhouse gas producing state.
