Friends Fiduciary, along with our co-filers (the Sisters of the Order of St. Dominic of Grand Rapids, the 444S Foundation, the Tides Foundation, John Swift, and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston) seek your support for Proposal 4 at the June 11th 2018 Annual Meeting of Comcast Corporation.

This resolution seeks greater transparency around Comcast’s lobbying expenditures. Comcast was the highest federal lobbying spender in the telecommunications sector in 2016 and 2017 ($29.7 million)—and inconsistency between its public statements and its lobbying may pose reputational risks (“Comcast Wants You to Think It Supports Net Neutrality While It Pushes for Net Neutrality to be Destroyed”, Slate).
