FFC supports more robust climate disclosure

Friends Fiduciary has signed onto a letter urging the SEC to require verified scope 1, 2, and 3 value chain emissions reporting as part of the climate risk disclosure rule. The SEC’s soon to be released climate disclosure rule is an opportunity for the SEC to ensure that full corporate emissions reporting is “timely, comparable, complete and accurate.” With climate risk as a global business and societal issue, swift action is necessary to combat climate-related impacts. We believe the SEC must support clear and consistent climate related disclosure from companies.
